PROCLAMATION NO. 2080

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN.

WHEREAS, Saturday, April 25, 1981 marks the Silver Anniversary of the creation of Aklan Province; and

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Aklan should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 25, 1981, as a special public holiday in the Province of Aklan, but the day will be a regular working and school day.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
