PROCLAMATION NO. 2067

DECLARING THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN AS A TOURIST ZONE

WHEREAS, the establishment of an Export Processing Zone at Mariveles, Bataan, has caused an influx of foreign technicians, as well as tourists, into the area;

WHEREAS, Mt. Samat is also the site of the Dambanang Kagitingan, and

WHEREAS, Bataan has other untapped scenic and beautiful spots with tourism potential;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the Province of Bataan, as a tourist zone under the contrl and administration of the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) pursuant to Section 5, of P.D. 564.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
