PROCLAMATION NO. 2062

AUTHORIZING THE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. TO CONDUCT A FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 1 TO NOVEMBER 30, 1981

WHEREAS, the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., a non-profit, non-stock, civic and voluntary organization, is engaged in numerous civic-oriented programs notably vocational training, placement, testing and evaluation, and other rehabilitation services to further inspire and fortify the handicapped so that, deeply imbued with fortitude and self-reliance, they will lead a productive life with dignity and pride;

WHEREAS, the successful implementation of its laudable projects and programs depends to a large degree upon the continued support of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc. to conduct a fund campaign during the period from March 1 to November 30, 1981.

I hereby call upon all residents, of whatever race or creed, business firms, organizations and government officials and employees to support the nationwide fund campaign of Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc. by giving generously of their means and participate in this humanitarian endeavor.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
