PROCLAMATION NO. 2056

DECLARING THE WEEK FROM FEBRUARY 8 TO 15, 1981, AS CHEMICAL ENGINEERING WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering (APCCHE), a confederation of chemical engineering organizations in the Asian Pacific Region will hold its 2nd Congress on February 8 to 12, 1981, here in Manila; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that a week be set aside to focus attention to chemical engineering and its role in industrial progress as well as energy development and conservation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from February 8 to 12, 1981, as “Chemical Engineering Week” under the auspices of the Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering (Philippines).ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
