PROCLAMATION NO. 2047

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CAVITE CITY.

WHEREAS, the twenty-eight of January marks the 119th birth anniversary of the late Don Julian Felipe of Cavite, composer of the Philippine National Anthem;

WHEREAS, in recognition of the outstanding contribution of the late Don Julian Felipe, it is most fitting and proper to give the people of Cavite full opportunity to celebrate his natal day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, January 28, 1981, as a special public holiday in the City of Cavite, but the day will be a regular working and school day.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
