PROCLAMATION NO. 1989

DECLARING MONDAY, JULY 14, 1980 AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CABANATUAN CITY.

WHEREAS, the people of Cabanatuan City will celebrate “Araw ng Kabanatuan” on Monday, July 14, 1980, which marks the two hundred and third anniversary of the founding of said city; and

WHEREAS, the residents of said city desire to celebrate the event with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, July 14, 1980, as a special public holiday in Cabanatuan City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
