PROCLAMATION NO. 1988

EXTENDING THE FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE BAND OF MERCY, INC., UP TO MAY 31, 1981.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Band of Mercy, Inc., was authorized under Proclamation No. 1912 to conduct a national educational membership and fund campaign from September 1, 1979 to August 31, 1980; and

WHEREAS, the organization needs additional time to raise more funds to achieve its goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the fund campaign of the Philippine Band of Mercy, Inc., up to May 31, 1981.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
