PROCLAMATION NO. 1971

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP, EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE MORAL RE-ARMAMENT FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO DECEMBER 31, 1980.

WHEREAS, the Moral Re-Armament Foundation of the Philippines was authorized under Proclamation No. 1884 dated August 16, 1979, to conduct a national fund campaign from May 1 to December 31, 1979; and

WHEREAS, the Foundation needs additional time to enable it to realize its fund campaign goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign of the Moral Re-Armament Foundation of the Philippines to December 31, 1980. I enjoin all residents, business firms, civic, educational, religious and government institutions to support this humanitarian movement.

Donations in connection with this campaign are deductible in full for income tax purposes, as per Presidential Proclamation No. 507.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
