PROCLAMATION NO. 1965

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MAY 5 TO 11, 1980, AS "LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY INDUSTRY WEEK."

WHEREAS, Federation of Cattle Raisers’ Association of the Philippines (FCRAP), Philippine Association of Hog Raisers, Inc. (PAHRI) and the Philippine Poultry Industry Associations (PPIA) will hold its first joint national convention on May 9 to 10, 1980 at the Philippine International Convention Center;

WHEREAS, the convention aims to seek solution to the common problems plaguing the livestock and poultry industry for many years; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus public attention on the important role played by the livestock and poultry industry in the socio-economic development of the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from May 5 to 11, 1980, as "Livestock and Poultry Industry Week."ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
