PROCLAMATION NO. 1958

DECLARING HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 1980, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

WHEREAS, Holy Saturday, which falls on April 5, 1980 may be declared a special public holiday without prejudice to the public interest to give the people continuous lenten holidays;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Holy Saturday, April 5, 1980, as a special public holiday.
