PROCLAMATION NO. 1957

DECLARING SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 1980, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN TAGIG, METRO MANILA

WHEREAS, Saturday, March 29, 1980, is the eightieth (80th) foundation anniversary of the Municipality of Tagig, Metro Manila; and

WHEREAS, the people of said municipality desire to celebrate its foundation day with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, March 29, 1980, as a special public holiday in Tagig, Metro Manila, but it shall be a regular working day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
