DECLARING AS AN URBAN LAND REFORM ZONE A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President and Prime Minister of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, settlement, exploration, development or exploitation and set aside and declare as an Urban Land Reform Zone, as provided for by Presidential Decree No. 1517 declaring Urban Land Reform in the Philippines, a certain parcel of land adjoining the National Government Center site situated in Quezon City, Metro Manila, subject to private rights if any there be, and to the operation of previous proclamations reserving portions thereof for specific purposes, which tract of land is generally described as follows:

A parcel of land situated in Quezon City, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the North along lines 1 to 24 by Novaliches Watershed Reservation, on the East along lines 24 to 41 by Marikina River, on the SE., along lines 41-42 by Capitol Hills Golf Course, on the SW., along lines 42 to 58 by Creek (8-10 m. wide), along lines 58 to 60 by NAWASA AQUEDUCT, and on the NW., along line 60-1 by Desiderio Subdivision. Beginning at a point marked �1� on plan, being S. 64 deg. 40淡., 5,108.40 m. from B.L.L.M. No. 1, Montalban, Rizal;

The disposition, construction, development and/or alteration of any part of the area defined above not subject to the proclamation reserving a portion thereof for the National Government Center is hereby prohibited and become subject to such regulations, conditions and/or plans to be formulated by an Urban Land Reform Coordinating Council headed by the Minister of Human Settlements and approved by the President and Prime Minister.
