DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 15 TO 21, 1974, AS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WEEK AND CREATING A COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF ITS OBSERVANCE.
In order to give impetus to the role of science in the development of the country, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from July 15 to 21, 1974, as Science and Technology Week, with particular emphasis on “New Directions of Philippine Science and Technology” to be observe throughout the country in schools, colleges and universities, with appropriate ceremonies, under the sponsorship of the National Science Development Board.
The following are designated members of a committee to take charge of the national observance of the Week:
