DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 8 TO 14, 1973, AS PHILIPPINE INDUSTRY WEEK
WHEREAS, the 20th National Convention of Manufacturers and Producers will be held during the second week of July 1973, with the end in view of discussing ways and means to aid or assist in the industrialization and socio-economic development of the country; and
WHEREAS, there is need to focus public attention on the New Society’s goal of attaining a stable and progressive economy;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from July 8 to 14, 1973, as Philippine Industry Week.
