MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1077, September 15, 1972 ] DECLARING THE YEAR 1973 AS NATIONAL ACCOUNTANCY YEAR WHEREAS, the public accountancy profession in the Phil虹ppines will observe its fiftieth year in nineteen hundred and seventy-three; and WHEREAS, the accountancy profession in the Philippines, considered more advanced among the countries in the Far East and Southeast Asia, has played a vital role, and continues to play a vital role in the proper and ef苯icient management of business and finance both in the public and private sector; NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the year nineteen hundred and seventy-three as National Accountancy Year.
