EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF THE DAVAO PENAL COLONY RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF STO. TOMAS, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, a CERTAIN PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAND AUTHORITY.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of the Davao Penal Colony Reservation situated in the municipality of Sto. Tomas, province of Davao del Norte, island of Mindanao, a certain portion of the land embraced therein and reserve the same for settlement purposes under the administration and disposition of the Land Authority, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, which portion is more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (portions of Lots 4710, Cad. 276 and 1370, Cad. 264) situated in the barrios of Palangaan and Bobongan, Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Province of Davao, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the North by the Tuganay River; on the East by Deco and portion of MAPCO on the South by the Davao Penal Colony Reservation and the Panabo Hemp Company; on the West by the NARRA SETTLEMENT (Pls-70). Beginning at a point marked “1” on the plan being due East, 1,618.88 meters from H.B.M. No. 18, Tagum Cad. 276.
