DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, the thirtieth day (Monday) of December, 1969, and the first day (Wednesday) of January, 1969 being holidays, the thirty-first day (Tuesday) of December 1968, may be declared a special public holiday to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted three-day holiday without prejudice to the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and sixty-eight, as a special public holiday.
