[ Proclamation No. 411, June 29, 1965 ]
CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION
WHEREAS, the public interest requires that the Congress of the Philippines be convened in a special session in order to consider urgent legislative measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a special session for two (2) days, or such number of days as may be necessary but not to exceed thirty (30) days, commencing June 30, 1965, at four o団lock in the afternoon, to consider the following subjects:
1. H. No. 16490輸n Act appropriating funds for the operation of the government of the Republic of the Philippines during the period from July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-five to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and sixty-six and for other purposes.
2. Such other measures as may be submitted.
All persons entitled to sit as member of the Congress of the Philippines are requested to take notice of this proclamation.1aшphi1
