MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 349, January 13, 1965 ] DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCES OF COTABATO, LANAO DEL NORTE, LANAO DEL SUR, AND SULU, AND IN THE CITIES OF BASILAN, COTABATO, ILIGAN, AND MARAWI In connection with the Muslin Feast of Id-Ul-Fitr, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, February 2, 1965, as a special public holiday in the provinces of Cotabato, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, and Sulu, and in the cities of Basilan, Cotabato, Iligan, and Mavawi. Muslin officials and employees of the Government, both national and local, performing their duties and functions outside of the provinces and cities above stated, shall be exempted from duty during this feast day which, for purposes of this proclamation, shall be considered as a special public holiday for said officials and employees in their respective stations.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines, to be affixed.
