DECLARING MONDAY, MARCH 2, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO AND IN ILOILO CITY
WHEREAS, the seventy-third birthday of the late Tomas Confesor, one of our most, outstanding resistance leaders during the last war falls on Monday, March 2, 1964; and
WHEREAS, the people of the Province and City of Iloilo should be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, March 2, 1984, as a special, public holiday in the Province of Iloilo and in Iloilo City.1aшphi1
