DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 1962, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, the one hundred first birthday anniversary of Jose Rizal, our national hero, falls on June 19, 1962;
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;
NOW, THEREFORE, I DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 1962, as a special public holiday.1âшphi1
