Proclamation No. 627

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO (2) PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF PAGSANGHAN AND OESTE, MUNICIPALITY OF TARANGNAN, PROVINCE OF SAMAR.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrios of Pagsanghan and Oeste, municipality of Tarangnan, Province of Samar, islands of Samar and Libucan, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-414, to wit:

Lot No. 1. (school site)—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-414, S. 83″ 52′ E. 2,733.00 m., more or less, from U. S. C. and G. S. Triangulation Station "Gandara," thence N. 88° 25′ E. 71.89 m. to point 2; S. 3° 02′ W. 114.23 m. to point 3; S. 89° 32′ W. 87.32 m. to point 4; N. 1°52′ W. 64.73 m. to point 5; N. 25° 56′ E. 53.49 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 9,806 square meters.

Points 1, 2 and 3, B. L. concrete monuments; point 4, old stake; and point 5, Old P. L. S./B. L. concrete monument.

Bounded on the north by proposed barrio road; on the east, by public land; on the south, by proposed barrio road; on the west, by lot No. 3 of plan 11-2246; and on the northwest, by property of the municipal government of Tarangnan (school site.).

Bearings true. Declination 0° 27′ E.

Triangulation Station, "Libucan," thence N. 15° 59′ W. 78.02 m. to point 2; N. 89° 35′ E. 70.79 m to point 3; S. 15° 28′ E. 79.10 m. to point 4; N. 89° 24′ W. 70.40 m. to point 1, point of beginning. Containing an area of 5,336 square meters. Points 1 and 2, B. L. concrete monuments; and points 3 and 4, old rock capped with concrete and marked by P. L. S. Bounded on the north by property of Basilio Labian; on the northeast, by property of the municipal government of Tarangnan; on the south, by barrio road (proposed extensions; and on the southwest, by property of Jesus Cataros. Bearings true. Declination 0° 27′ E.

The reservation of the school site in the barrio of Oeste is subject to the condition that at any time the said site is abandoned for school purposes, the land shall revert to the category of, and shall form part of, public forest.
