MALACAÑANG PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 617 RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF BUGABOÑGAN, MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF AWANG, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Bugaboñgan, municipal district of Awang, Province of Cotabato, island of Mindanao and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Pr-235, to wit: Beginning at point marked 1 on plan Pr-235, S. 43° 22′ E. 2,463.78 m., more or less, from B. L. B. M. N. 1, barrio of Bugaboiigan, municipal district of Awang, thence N. 3° 12’ E. 127.90 m. to point 2; N. 79° 44′ E. 51.24 m. to point 3; N. 30° 16′ W. 53.22 m. to point 4; S. 58° 07′ E. 44.20 m. to point 5; N. 7° 31′ E. 15.53 m. to point 6; N. 87° 38’ E. 27.66 m. to point 7; N. 28° 26′ E. 34.90 m to point 8, S. 43° 24′ E. 44.18 m. to point 9; S. 1° 40′ E. 163.39 point 10; S. 85° 42′ W. 150.09 m. to point 1, point of beginning. Containing an area of 2.3014 hectares. Point 1, old P. L. S./B. L. concrete monument; point 2, old P. L. S. concrete monument; points 9 and 10, old B. L. concrete monument; and the rest are old stakes. Bounded on the north arid northeast, by Pace Creek and property of Guillermo de la Cruz; on the cast, by property of Guillermo de la Cruz; on the south, by public land-and on the west, by property of Lope Daboco, Pace Creek and property of Guillermo de la Cruz. Bearings true. Declination 2° 30′ E. Points referred to are marked on plan Pr-235. Surveyed: December 8-9, 1936. Approved: February 9, 1940.
