ESTABLISHING AS MADO HOT SPRING NATIONAL PARK FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF AWANG, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section one of Act Numbered Thirty-nine hundred and fifteen, entitled "An Act providing for the establishment of national parks, declaring such parks as game refuges, and for other purposes," I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby reserve for park purposes for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the Philippines, and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other dispositions, subject to private rights if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain situated in the municipal district of Awang, Province of Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, and described in Bureau of Forestry map No. N. P. 28, to wit:

Beginning at corner 1, a post, 10 cm. in diameter, marked F. Z. 194-B/66, identical to corner 1, block II, alienable and disposable, Cotabato project 12-C, which is S. 30° W. about 3,310 meters from barrio Sibuto, Awang, Cotabato; thence S. 74° E., 330 meters to corner 2, a B. L. concrete monument, 15 by 60 cm., marked 1034/183, identical to corner 4, homestead application No. 176426; thence S. 74° E., 110 meters to corner 3, a balobo tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked L. C. 823/114, identical to corner 61, block II, alienable and disposable, Cotabato project 12-C; thence S. 29° E., 180 meters to corner 4, an anilao tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked L. C. 823/111, identical to corner 60, block II, alienable and disposable, Cotabato project 12-C; thence S. 5° W., 300 meters to corner 5, a coconut tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked L. C. 823/109, identical to corner 59, block II, alienable and disposable, Cotabato project 12-C; thenct S. 61° W., 240 meters to corner 6, a balobo tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/194, which is at the edge of a slope; thence S. 75° W., 250 meters to corner 7, a balobo tree, 30 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/195, which is on the slope; thence S. 87° W., 290 meters to corner 8, a white lauan tree, 30 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/196, which is on the slope; thence N. 17° W., 170 meters to corner 9, an apitong tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/197, which is on the slope; thence N. 2° W., 310 meters to corner 10, an alupag tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/198, which is on the slope; thence N. 50° E., 280 meters to corner 11, a taluto tree, 30 cm. in diameter, marked 1034/199, which is on the slope; thence N. 39° E., 160 meters to corner 1, the point of beginning.

Corner 1 was marked with official marking hatchet B. F. No. 260 and corners 3 to 5 were marked with official marking-hatchet B. F. No. 474.

This national park contains an area of 48 hectares.

The said parcel of land shall be known as the "Mado Hot Spring National Park" and shall remain under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry, subject to the general executive control and supervision of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
