AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 659, SERIES OF 1934, ESTABLISHING THE MANLELUAG SPRING FOREST RESERVE.

Upon the recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section eighteen hundred and twenty-six of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Revised Administrative Code, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby amend Proclamation Numbered Six hundred fifty-nine, series of nineteen hundred and thirty-four, by changing the boundaries of the Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve, situated in the municipality of Mangatarem, Province of Pangasman, Island of Luzon, and described in the Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R.-39-1, to wit:

Beginning at point marked 1 on Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R.-39-1, an alibangbang tree, 35 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/14, identical to corner 1, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39, which is N. 50° W., 715 meters, more or less, from barrio Manleluag, Mangatarem, Pangasinan; thence S. 12° W., 190 meters to corner 2, a banaba tree, 35 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/13, identical to corner 2, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence S. 12° W., 190 meters to corner 3, a baling-hasai tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/12, identical to corner 3, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence S. 12° W., 205 meters to corner 4, an alibangbang tree, 18 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/11, identical to corner 4, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence S. 12° W., 205 meters to corner 5, a balinghasai tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/10, identical to corner 5, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence N. 75° E., 480 meters to corner 7, a kalumpit tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked 2216/5, on a ridge; thence S. 37° E., 40 meters to corner 8, a baracbac tree, 18 cm. in diameter, marked 2216/6, on the north bank of Baracbac River; thence S. 35° W., 400 meters to corner 9, a. baracbac tree, 18 cm. in diameter, marked 2387/15, on the bank of Baracbac River; thence N. 74° W., 320 meters to corner 10, a baracbac tree, 45 cm. in diameter, marked 2387/13, on the bank of Baracbac River; thence following Baracbac River upstream in a general southwesterly direction about 490 meters to corner 11, a baracbac tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked 2387/10, on the bank of Baracbac River; thence N. 47° W., 300 meters to corner 12, a palosapis tree, 35 cm. in diameter, marked 2387/6, on a ridge near edge of forest; thence N. 11° W., 340 meters to corner 13, a pile of stones marked 2387/5, on the top of a hill; thence N. 22° E., 280 meters to corner 14, an alibangbang tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/24, identical to corner 11, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence S. 82° E., 215 meters to corner 15, a duhat tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/22, identical to corner 12, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R-39; thence S. 82° E., 215 meters to corner 16, an alibangbang tree, 20 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/20, identical to corner 13, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence N. 29° E., 360 meters to corner 17, an alibangbang tree, 25 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/18, identical to corner 14, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence N. 79° E., 185 meters to corner 18, an alibangbang tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked 2151/16, identical to corner 15, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; and thence S. 59° E., 175 meters to corner 1, the point of beginning.

Corners 1 to 6 and 14 to IS, inclusive, were marked with Bureau of Forestry official marking hatchet No. 233.

Containing an area of approximately 91.7 hectares.

Amended in order to include the adjoining public forest having an area of 32.9 hectares.
