Proclamation No. 349

RESERVING FOR CONSTABULARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TANDU, PROVINCE OF SULU, ISLAND OF SULU.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for Constabulary purposes, under the administration of the Philippine Constabulary, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the municipal district of Tandu, Province of Sulu, Island of Sulu, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-376, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-376, N. 32° 08′ E., 476.16 m., more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 10, Tandu cadastre, thence N. 54° 32′ W. 49.97 m. to point 2; N. 54° 32′ W. 173.96 m. to point 3; N. 70° 55′ E. 36.59 m. to point 4; N. 52° 19′ E. 47.07 m. to point 5; N. 82° 04′ E. 82.98 m. to point 6; N. 46° 06′ E. 18.49 m. to point 7; S. 54° 33′ E. 125.36 m. to point 8; S. 35° 28′ W. 150.08 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 26,554 square meters.

Points 1, 2, and 8, B. L. concrete monuments; points 3 to 7, inclusive, stakes.

Bounded on the northeast and southeast by lot No. 104: on the southwest, by lot No. 497; and on the northwest, by Tubig-Puti Creek.

Bearings true. Declination, 1° 25′ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-376.

Surveyed: October, 1924, to July, 1926.

Approved: May 12, 1936.

NOTE.—This is lot No. 498 of Tandu cadastre No. 161.
