Proclamation No. 320

FIXING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER FIFTEEN, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT, AS CENSUS DAY

Whereas Proclamation Numbered Two hundred sixty-six, dated March thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, amending Proclamation Numbered Two hundred sixteen, dated October twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, fixed Monday, October third, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, as Census Day; and

Whereas additional time is required to select and train census supervisors and enumerators;

Now, therefore, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the provisions of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred seventy, do hereby amend Proclamation Numbered Two hundred sixty-six, and fix Tuesday, November fifteen, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, the day of the Anniversary of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, instead of October third, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, as Census Day.

In witness whereof, I have here unto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this seventh day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the third.
