Proclamation No. 254

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 45, SERIES OF 1906, AND RESERVING FOR MILITARY TRAINING SITE PURPOSES, A TRACT OF LAND IN THE MUNICPALITY OF MASBATE, PROVINCE OF MASBATE.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, I hereby exclude from the operation of Executive Order Numbered Forty-five, series of nineteen hundred and six, and reserve for military training site purposes, under the administration of the Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army, a parcel of land situated in the municipality of Masbate, Province of Masbate, Island of Masbate, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan SWO-7129-Amd., to wit:

A parcel of land lot No. 1 of the amendment subdivision plan SWO-7129-Amd, being a portion of lot No. 1 of plan Swo-7129, G.L.R.O. Record No. ), situated in the poblacion, municipality of Masbate, Province of Masbate. Bounded on the NE., by property of Jose Tiongson; on the SE., by Masbate Air Port; on the SW., by lot No. 3 of the amendment-subdivision plan; and on the NW., by properties of the provincial government of Masbate (provincial building site) and Sotero Medina. Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan, being N. 72° 04’ E., 1,069.22 m., more or less, from B.L.L.M. No. 2 municipality of Masbate, thence S. 12° 04’ 40ŽE., 274.56m. to point "2;" thence S. 43° 07’ W., 50.65 m. to point "3;" thence N. 56° 20’ W., 162.29 m. to point "4;" thence N. 55° 49’ W., 192.35 m. to point "5;" thence N. 61° 08’ E., 80.35 m. to point "6;" thence N. 71° 09’ 30" E., 212.45 m. to the point of beginning; containing an area of fifty thousand one (50,001) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan; and on the ground, points "1;" "2," and "6" are marked by old P.L.L.M. concrete monuments (top diameter); and points "3," "4," and "5," by B.L. concrete monuments; bearings true; declination, 1° 04’ E., date of the original survey, March 29-30, 1906, and that of the amendment-subdivision survey, May 18, 1937.
