Proclamation No. 62

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SINDANGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the Municipality of Sindangan, Province of Zamboanga, Island of Mindanao, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands plan Psu-78575, to wit:

Lot No. 1.—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Psu-78575, S. 49ْ 39’ W., 175.33 m., more or less from L. M. No. 2, municipality of Sindangan, thence S. 82 ْ 31’ E. 181.50 m. to point 2; S. 7 ْ21’ W. 230.80 m. to point 3; N. 74 48’ W. 186.59 m. to point 4; N. 8 ْ17’ E. 205.78 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 40,005 square meters.

Points 1, 2, 3, and 4, P. L. S. cylindrical concrete monuments.

Bounded on the north, by Hadji Nuño Street; on the east, by municipal road; on the south, by España Street; and on the west, by Burgos Street.

Bearings true. Declination, 1 ْ50’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Psu-78575, sheet No. 1.

Surveyed, February 20, 1930. Approved, March 16, 1931.

NOTE.—Amended to exclude the eastern portion as per request of Calixto Sudiacal, private land surveyor, dated June 26, 1933.
