MALACAÑAN PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 44 RESERVING FOR PARK PURPOSE A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA LIBERTAD, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL, ISLAND OF NEGROS. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for park purposes, under the administration of the municipal council of La Libertad, Negros Oriental, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain situated in the Municipality of La Libertad, Province of Oriental Negros, island of Negros, and more particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Psu-96594, to wit: Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Psu-96594, S. 57ْ 45’ E. 16.75 m. more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, municipality of La Libertad, thence S. 63ْ 01’ E. 146.48 m. to point 2; S. 34ْ 46’ W. 24.84 m. to point 3; S. 34ْ 44’ W. 87.80 m. to point 4; S. 35ْ 18’ W. 17.41 m. to point 5; S. 35ْ 43’ W. 17.05 m. to point 6; S. 35ْ 24’ W. 11.91 m. to point 7; N. 61ْ 45’ W. 105.42 to point 8; N. 61ْ 16’ W. 52.79 m. to point 9; N. 39ْ 22’ E. 157.17 m. to point 1, point of beginning. Containing an area of 23,796 square meters. Points 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9, P. L. S.; point 3, B. L. monument; points 6, 7, and 8, old P. L. S. Bounded on the northeast, by General Luna Street; on the southeast, by properties of Pastor Salimbagat, Narciso Absin, Pantaleon Absin, and Emilio Aguinaldo Street (proposed); on the southwest, by properties of Luis Dionaldo and Abdon Alpuerto; and on the northwest, by provincial road. Bearings true. Declination, 1ْ 29’ E. Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan PSU-96594. Surveyed, February 2, 1933. Approved, November 22, 1933. NOTE.—All P. L.
