The Committee is hereby directed to formulate an OP-PMS Environmental Program which will be implemented on a continuing basis towards achieving a conducive and healthy environment within the Malacaņang Palace Complex and its vicinities. It shall develop strategies geared towards making the Malacaņang Palace Complex as a model for all agencies of government to replicate in promoting environmental protection and conservation.
A Secretariat shall be constituted by the Committee which shall be headed by the Secretary-General and shall be composed of at least three (3) members.1aшphi1
The Committee is, likewise, hereby empowered to seek assistance from other primary units and agencies of the government involved in environmental concerns in order to effectively discharge its functions.
