[ Memorandum Order No. 130, December 22, 2000 ]

REVERTING THE LEGISLATIVE OFFICE AS PART OF THE COMMON STAFF SUPPORT SYSTEM IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT PROPER

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Executive Secretary under Executive Order No. 483 dated September 30, 1991, the following are hereby directed:

Section 1. The Legislative Office is hereby reverted as part of the Common Staff Support System in the Office of the President Proper pursuant to the provisions of Section 22, Chapter 8, Title II, Book III of the Administrative Code of 1987.

Section 2. The Legislative Office shall be embraced under the general category of General Government Administration Staff in accordance with the provisions of Section 28 (3), Chapter 9, Title III, Book III of the Administrative Code of 1987.

Section 3. The Legislative Office shall have the functions and responsibilities provided for under Memorandum Order No. 405 dated November 5, 1991.

Section 4. The Legislative Office and the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office shall closely coordinate with each other to provide the President and/or the Executive Secretary with maximum staff support concerning legislative matters.1aшphi1

Section 5. All provisions of previous issuances and memoranda or parts thereof which are in conflict or inconsistent with the provisions of this Memorandum Order are hereby modified and/or revoked accordingly.

Section 6. This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
