Pursuant to Article IX(c), Section 2(4) of the 1987 Constitution, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby concur with Resolution No. 3150 of the Commission on Elections promulgated on July 25, 2000, deputizing the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Department of Interior and Local Government, the National Police Commission and the Philippine National Police for the exclusive purpose of ensuring free, orderly, honest, peaceful and credible conduct of the plebiscite for the cityhood of Maasin, Southern Leyte on August 10, 2000.1aшphi1

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
