MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 46, January 15, 1999 ] AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 468, SERIES OF 1998, AUTHORIZING THE NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY TO IMPORT 300,000 METRIC TONS OF CORN DUTY-FREE I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the amendment of the last portion of paragraph No. #02 of the Memorandum Order No. 468, to read as follows: “A Committee to be created by the NFA Council shall recommend the use of such funds subject to approval by the President. The Committee shall be composed of two (2) representatives from the corn producers, two (2) from the corn users sector and three (3) from the government.” This memorandum order shall take effect immediately.1aшphi1 DONE in the City of Manila, this 15th day of JANUARY, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Nine.
