AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF OP OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE 3RD INTER-AGENCY MINI-OLYMPICS, SPEARHEADED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, IN OBSERVANCE OF THE WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY (WNTD) ON MAY 31, 1998
In line with the Philippine Centennial Celebration and in observance of the World Tobacco Day (WNTD) on May 31, 1998, with the theme: “Sigaw ng Kabataan, Sigarilyo ay Iwasan,” spearheaded by the Department of Health, the athlete-employees enumerated in the attached list are hereby authorized to participate in the practice games scheduled for the purpose at the Kalayaan Grounds, Malacañang, Manila and at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City. The attendance of the OP Senior officials and the athletes in the Inter-Agency Mini-Olympics on May 31, 1997 at the Amoranto Sports Complex, is likewise authorized on official time. The personnel authorized to attend the Sunday activity on May 31, 1997, may not report to the office any day of the first week of June, subject to the schedule to be recommended by the Personnel Office.1aшphi1
A Medical Team headed by Dir. Violeta Alonso, from the Malacañang Clinic shall provide medical service for the OP delegation during its practice on May 27-May 28, 1998 and during the actual event on May 31, 1998. A shuttle service shall be made available by the Motorpool on May 31, 1998, at 5:00 a.m.
For this purpose, the members of the OP contingent, are authorized an allowance of ONE HUNDRED PESOS (100.00) each during their participation in the actual event on May 31, 1998, chargeable against the funds intended for the purpose, subject to the availability thereof and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
Dir. Nickarlo I . San Pedro, OP Over-All Sports Captain, and Dir. Clarita F. Rodulfo, OP Over-All Sports Coordinator, shall submit to the undersigned a report of OPs participation three weeks after the event.
