Upgrading of Testing and Analytical Laboratories |
In line with the countrys membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the need to assist local producers to meet quality specifications of the local and export markets, you are hereby directed to formulate a Master Plan for the establishment and upgrading of regional testing and analytical laboratories in the following fields: metal, food, electronics, textile, drugs and environment.1aшphi1
In this regard, you are hereby constituted as a Committee, with the Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology as Chairman, to undertake the above task. The Committee is expected to submit its recommendation on or before July 31, 1996 through the Science and Technology Coordinating Council (STCC), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Bicutan, Tagig, Metro Manila (Tel/Fax: 837-20-32).
