[ Memorandum Order No. 276, March 30, 1995 ]

AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 243 DATED 09 DECEMBER 1994 ENTITLED “AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 142 DATED 07 JULY 1993, RECONSTITUTING THE CABINET CLUSTER SYSTEM”

WHEREAS, Cabinet Cluster G was constituted primarily to act on matters pertaining to water resources management;

WHEREAS, Cabinet Cluster G, per Memorandum Order No. 244 dated 09 December 1994, was tasked to be the overall coordinator relative to the implementation of the Water Summit Action Plan;

WHEREAS, education is one of the components of the Water Summit Action Plan;

WHEREAS, water districts are also critical in the efficient implementation of water projects as provided in the Water Summit Action Plan;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to include other vital and critical government agencies in the membership of Cabinet Cluster G.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby modify Memorandum Order No. 243 dated 09 December 1994 as follows:

Section 1. Section 1.1 of Memorandum Order No. 243 series of 1994 is hereby amended to include, in addition to those already mentioned, the following agencies/officials as members of Cabinet Cluster G:

a. Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports

b. Representative of the Water Districts to be appointed by the Chairman of Cabinet Cluster G.1aшphi1

Section 2. This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
