AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 256 DATED FEBRUARY 5, 1995 ADOPTING A NEW WORK SCHEDULE IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT (PROPER) PURSUANT TO MC NO. 111 DATED JANUARY 17, 1995

Memorandum Order No. 256, dated February 6, 1995, prescribing a new flexi-time work schedule in the Office of the President (Proper), the same is hereby amended after assessing its effectiveness, as follows:

Office of the Sr. Deputy Executive Secretary 7AM – 7PM As needed
Office of the Chief Pres’l Legal Counsel (OCPLC) 7AM – 7PM As needed
Authentication/Cashiers Units 7AM – 7PM 7AM – 7PM
Pres’l. Action Center (PACE) 7AM – 7PM As needed
Malacañang Clinic 7AM – 7PM 8AM – 5PM
Personnel Office 7AM – 7PM As needed
Administrative Office 7AM – 7PM 8AM – 5PM

All other offices not mentioned above shall observe regular office hours (8AM – 5PM) on Mondays to Fridays, and may report for official duty on Saturdays, as may be necessary.1aшphi1

As much as practicable, the flexi-time will be adopted by allowing the personnel to work in shifts taking into account the number of staffs in a particular office. Overtime service shall be resorted to only when necessary and payment thereof will be in accordance with existing rules and policy on the matter.

Those who will be on official duty on Saturdays shall observe a day-off on the following Monday, provided that in the event they cannot avail themselves of this off-setting arrangement in the exigency of the service, they shall be entitled to overtime pay by the hour for their services on the weekend.

All officials and employees, regardless of their work schedule, are required to be present at the Flag Ceremony on Mondays.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
