[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 253, January 20, 1995 ]

FURTHER AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 179 DATED NOVEMBER 6, 1993 AS AMENDED EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR THE FILING OF APPLICATION, UNTIL FEBRUARY 25, 1995, WITH THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO SAID MEMORANDUM ORDER FOR THE CONVERSION OF SPECIAL NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (INDEFINITE) UNDER SECTION 47 (A) (2) OF THE IMMIGRATION ACT

In view of the representative that the number of foreigners have expressed their desire to avail of the conversion of special non-immigrant visa pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 179, dated November 6, 1993, and upon recommendation of the Chairman, Special Committee created thereunder, the deadline for the filing of application for the conversion of special non-immigrant visa (indefinite) under section 47 (a) (2) of the Philippines Immigration Act of 1940, as amended is hereby extended up to February 25, 1995.1âшphi1

The provisions of Memorandum Order No. 179, as amended which are not contrary to or inconsistent with this Memorandum Order shall remain in force and effect.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
