AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF WEEK-LONG ACTIVITIES IN THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 94TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE PHILIPPINE CIVIL SERVICE IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

Pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 24, s. 1994, enjoining all officials and employees of the different departments, bureaus, and agencies of the national and local governments, including government-owned and controlled corporations, state universities and colleges in all celebrations in the observance of the Philippine Civil Service’s 94th Anniversary, the holding of week-long activities in OP, as well as the payment of expenses to be incurred in connection :herewith, chargeable against appropriate funds from the OP (Proper) and PMS, is hereby authorized.

The celebration focuses on the theme: “MAMAMAYAN MUNA, HINDI MAMAYA NA” to underscore the government-wide campaign for prompt, courteous, efficient and responsive public service, designed to heighten the role of citizens in government.1aшphi1 The schedule of activities is as follows:

1. Sept 12 – 8:00 A.M.	REDEDICATION TO PUBLIC SERVICE
	(All personnel of offices/units within the Malacanang Grounds)
	– Monday Flag Ceremony at the KAlayaan Grounds (Usual format with the incorporation of
	.Recitation of the “Panunumpa ng mga Kawani”
	.Singing of “Awit ng Serbisyo Sibil”
Hosts:	– CSC Malacanang Field Office/ headed by Director Carlito Callangan
	.Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) chaired by Chairman Deogenes Osabel
2. Sept 12 – 19	NO NOON BREAK – NO SNACK BREAK OPERATIONS
	– Personnel Shifting Scheme to ensure UNINTERRUPTED agency operations
	Posting in strategic places of notices informing the public of this feature ,
3. Sept 21	“PROGRAMA PARA SA MGA KAWANI”
	– Conferment of service awards and other incentives to officials and employees in OP (Proper) and PMS.
Hosts:	. SIAC, chaired by AES Ernesto P. Martinez
	. PMS, headed by Sec. Leonora V. de Jesus

Ms. Clarita F. Rodulfo, Moral Recovery Officer for OP (Proper), is designated to coordinate with the OP-MRP Steering Committee, the SIAC. PMS, and with the CSC Field Office and the Presidential Security Group in Malacanang for the conduct of said activities.
