CREATING A STUDY GROUP TO PREPARE A STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN FOR THE PRIVATIZATION OF THE METRO MANILA TRANSIT CORPORATION (MMTC)
In order to speed up the long-overdue privatization of the Metro Manila Transit Corporation (MMTC), a Study Group which shall prepare a Strategic Action Plan for the Privatization of the Metro Manila Transit Corporation (MMTC), is hereby created in the Office of the President which shall be composed of the following:

The Study Group shall, within one hundred twenty (120) days from the effectivity of this Memorandum Order, submit to the undersigned an actionable and implementable strategic plan for the privatization of the MMTC.1aшphi1
The Study Group shall coordinate with and may call upon any department, bureau, agency, and instrumentalities of the government for assistance in order to carry out its objectives.
All Memorandum Orders inconsistent with this Order are hereby revoked.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila this 13th day of July in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and ninety four.
