MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 154, August 5, 1993 ] Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 143 dated 13 July 1993, the following arrangements relative to the processing and signing authority for personnel matters in this Office are defined as follows: 1. Appointments in the director level position shall be prepared for the signature of the Executive Secretary. 2. Appointments to regular itemized positions below director level shall be prepared for the signature of the Senior Deputy Executive Secretary. 3. All other proposals for appointment when funds are chargeable against lump sum appropriation of this Office, shall be cleared first with the President before the same are prepared for the signature of the officials concerned. It is understood that in all cases of proposal for appointment in this Office, the same shall be passed upon by the Selection Board, before submission to the officials concerned.1aшphi1 This Order shall take effect immediately.
