MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 116, April 6, 1993 ] AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF ONE THOUSAND (P1,000.00) PESOS FOR CLOTHING ALLOWANCE TO EACH OF THE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT (PROPER) FOR THE YEAR 1993, PURSUANT TO SEC. 38 OF THE GENERAL PROVISIONS OF RA 7645 (GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT, FY 1993) Payment of ONE THOUSAND (P1,000.00) PESOS for the clothing allowance of each of the officials and employees of the Office of the President whether permanent, casual or contractual, is hereby authorized, subject to the availability of salary savings, pursuant to Section 38, of the General Provisions of RA 7645 (General Appropriations Act, FY, 1993). The office uniform shall be in conformity to the guidelines to be prescribed by the Dress Code (Uniform) Committee, created under Special Order No. 150. The Dress Code, pursuant to Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 14, series of 1991, shall be strictly observed. Any violation of the above-stated CSC Memorandum Circular and of this Order shall be considered as a ground for disciplinary action. To be entitled to the herein authorized clothing allowance, the personnel shall actually be in the service as of the date of the issuance of this Order.1aшphi1 Those appointed after September 30, 1993 shall likewise be entitled to one-half of the herein authorized amount or P500.00 only.
