[ Memorandum Order No. 426, April 27, 1992 ]

CREATING A COMMITTEE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SECTION 25, REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7306, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “CHARTER OF THE PEOPLE’S TELEVISION NETWORK, INCORPORATED”

For the purpose of implementing Section 25 of Republic Act No. 7306, the “Charter of People’s Television Network, Incorporated, which provides that:

Section 25. Transition Clause. All the powers, functions, assets and liabilities, capital, accounts, contracts, and facilities pertaining to the People’s Television-4 (PTV-4), and all equipment relating to television broadcasting owned by the government shall be transferred to the Network”,

there is hereby created a Committee, which shall be composed of:

Chairman	Dionisio C. de la Serna
	Deputy Executive Secretary
	Office of the President
Vice Chairman	The General Manager
	People’s Television-4 (PTV-4)
Members	A representative of the Office of the Press Secretary
	A representative of the Department of Budget and Management
	A representative of the Department of Transportation and Communications

The Committee shall promulgate and cause the issuance of the rules and regulations necessary for the proper and orderly implementation of Section 25 of Republic Act No. 7306.

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in the discharge of its duties and functions.

ThiᇈWᑭHILs Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
