CREATING THE AD HOC SPECIAL CABINET COMMITTEE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUBIC NAVAL BASE
In order to ensure the best productive use of the Subic Naval Base in the most expedient manner with the primary objective of immediately creating employment opportunities and attracting private investments, both local and foreign, there is hereby created an Ad-Hoc Special Cabinet Committee to assist the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and to recommend to the President measures to enhance the successful development, including privatization, of Subic Naval Base facilities, to be composed of the following:

The Committee may call upon any department, agency, or instrumentality of the government as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Order.
The Task Force on Bases Conversion and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority shall provide the technical and administrative support to the Committee.1aшphi1
The Committee shall submit regular reports to the President on the status of the development/privatization plan and such other assignments the President may assign to the Committee.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
