AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 369, SERIES OF 1991, ENTITLED “CREATING A TASK FORCE ON THE REHABILITATION OF AREAS AFFECTED BY THE ERUPTION OF MT. PINATUBO AND ITS EFFECTS”

WHEREAS, Memorandum Order No. 369, s. of 1991, created a Task Force to integrate and rationalize the Government’s rehabilitation efforts in view of the extensive damage caused by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the inclusion of other vital and critical government agencies in the various Committees of said Task Force;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

Section 1. Section 2 of Memorandum Order No. 369, s. of 1991, is hereby amended to include, in addition to those already mentioned, the following agencies as members of the following standing Committees:

Infrastructure Committee

– Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology

– Department of Education, Culture and Sports

– Department of Health

Resettlement Committee

– Department of Agriculture

– Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board

Social Service Committee

– National Housing Authority

– Philippine National Red Cross

– Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board

– Social Security System

Section 2. Section 9 of Memorandum Order No. 369, s. of 1991, is hereby amended to include the Secretary of Foreign Affairs as among those responsible for generating financial and technical assistance from foreign sources.1aшphi1
