MODIFYING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 136, SERIES OF 1987, ENTITLED “APPROVING AND PROMULGATING THE GUIDELINES ON THE CAR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CDP) REPLACING THE PROGRESSIVE CAR MANUFACTURING PROGRAM (PCMP)”
Pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order No. 248 dated July 24, 1987 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Investments, the following additional exception to Section 5.4 of the Guidelines on the Car Development Program (CDP) Replacing the Progressive Car Manufacturing Program (PCMP), is hereby approved to wit:
“5.4.4 Those luxury cars with engine displacement of not less than 2500 cc imported by deluxe hotel and/or resort operators, in accordance with the guidelines for such importations agreed upon by the Department of Tourism and the Board of Investments, subject to the approval of the President.”
This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
