[ Memorandum Order No. 297, May 31, 1990 ]

RECONSTITUTING THE SELECTION BOARD IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

The Selection Board in the Office of the President created under Memorandum Order No. 248 of this Office dated August 21, 1989, is hereby reconstituted as follows:

Chairman	Deputy Executive Secretary Mariano Sarmiento II
Member	A Representative of Management
Member	A Representative of organizational unit where the vacancy exists
Members	Two Representatives of the rank and file employees, one from the first level and one from the second level who shall both be chosen by the duly registered/accredited employee association in the department or agency. The former shall sit during the screening of candidates for vacancies in the first level, while the latter shall participate in the screening of candidates for vacancies in the second level.

The Head of the Personnel Office shall act as the Secretary of the Board.

As herein reconstituted, the Selection Board shall perform the same functions as defined in the aforecited Memorandum Order and shall review and pass upon proposed appointments and promotions.1aшphi1

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
