MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 275, January 10, 1990 ] Pursuant to Article IX(C), Section 2(4), of the 1987 Constitution, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby concur in Resolution No. 2232, dated January 9, 1990, of the Commission on Elections entitled: “IN RE: DEPUTATION OF CERTAIN NATIONAL AND LOCAL OFFICIALS OR EMPLOYEES, LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES, INCLUDING THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES, PRESCRIBING THEIR DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS AS DEPUTIES OF THE COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ELECTION OF REGIONAL OFFICIALS OF THE AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO ON FEBRUARY 17, 1990 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.” All government agencies, officials and employees deputized by the Commission on Elections pursuant to this Memorandum Order are hereby directed to coordinate and cooperate with the Commission on Elections in the performance of their respective duties and functions.1aшphi1 This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
