ESTABLISHING A “PICK-UP MAIL SYSTEM” IN THE MALACAÑANG RECORDS OFFICE AND REQUIRING ALL HEADS/CHIEFS OF OFFICES AND PRIMARY UNITS TO DESIGNATE SPECIAL MAIL COURIERS.
In order to minimize delay in the handling of personal and non-official mails of officials and employees in the Office of the President including the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and the Presidential Security Group (PSG), there is hereby established in the Malacañang Records Office a “Pick-up Mail System”. Each office and primary unit shall be provided and assigned a mailbox with the corresponding key and number. Access to the mailbox shall be through the designated special mail courier who shall pick-up the mails of their respective offices/primary units for their proper distribution.
For this purpose, all heads/chiefs of offices/primary units in the OP, PMS and PSG shall designate their respective special mail couriers and entrusted with the respective key and mailbox number, whose names shall be submitted to the Malacañang Records Office for its information and guidance.
This Order shall take effect immediately.1aшphi1
